Floor tile, wall tile, waterproofing, demolition, levelling and heating each priced separately against the schedule of finishes, so your line items reconcile without a phone call.

Substrate and movement joints to spec
Deflection, uncoupling, expansion and perimeter joints treated as drawing items, not as things sorted out on the day. Where a detail on the drawings will fail, you hear it at tender, not at handover.

Wet areas as a system
Membrane bonded to the drain flange, corners banded, pans flood-tested before tile. Photographs of the waterproofing before it is covered, sent as a matter of course.

Slab-format porcelain, back-buttered and levelled with clips, on floors prepared flat enough to take it. Cutting and set-out planned from the room itself, not from what came on the pallet.

Ask about WSIB clearance and whatever else your site requires in your first message and you get a straight answer in writing, before you spend time on a quote.
Working language on site is English, Russian or Ukrainian. For anything that has to be precise, put it in writing and it comes back in writing.
